Presentation
Motor vehicle accident. Incidental finding.
Patient Data

There is a 5.8 x 3.3 cm structure with air-fluid level in the left sub diaphragmatic region along the posterior wall of the gastric fundus , likely representing gastric diverticulum.
There are a few heterogeneously enhancing lesions with mural calcifications in the pelvis, compressing and not separable from the uterus, the largest seen extending up to the umbilicus, measuring 10.8 x 9 x 12.9 cm, likely representing subserous fibroids.
Acute mildly displaced fracture of the manubrium with small retrosternal hematoma.
Case Discussion
Incidentally noted large gastric diverticulum and subserous fibroids.
Gastric diverticulum is rare and is usually asymptomatic and incidentally discovered.
It is frequently seen projecting from the posterior wall of the cardia and on the lesser gastric curvature.
