Presentation

Breast cancer. CT scan for staging.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

Well-defined, oval-shaped lesion bulging from the posterior aspect of the gastric fundus, it measures 2.5 x 1.4 cm in diameters. For further evaluation.

NB: Small sliding hiatus hernia is noted.

Barium

Well-defined outpouching diverticulum arising from the gastric fundus.

Another Axial CT scan revealed the gastric diverticulum containing air bubbles.

Case Discussion

Gastric diverticulum is incidentally seen, it's not associated with symptoms unless its large in size.
