A 22×16 mm well-defined sub-mucosal fat density mass is noted at gastric cardia.
A 25×22 mm thin-walled non-enhanced cyst is noted at the left liver lobe.
Several small gallstones are seen.
Degenerative changes as osteophytes are seen at the lumbar spine.
Case Discussion
Small fat density sub-mucosal mass in gastric cardia compatible with lipoma.
Gastric lipomas are a location-specific subtype of gastrointestinal lipomas and represent rare benign mesenchymal tumors of the stomach. They can be definitively diagnosed on CT.
