Presentation

Abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female

Marked diffuse wall thickening of the stomach. No dilatation of the distal esophagus. Sternotomy wire noted.

Case Discussion

This patient went on to have CT imaging (not available) which showed the typical appearance for linitis plastica and endoscopic biopsy confirmed gastric adenocarcinoma.
