Intussusuception of the gastric body and pyloris into the proximal duodenum. Small exophytic mass in the lesser curvature of the stomach suggesting a polyp. Secondary obstruction of the biliary tree with biliary and pancreatic duct dilatation.
Right inguinal hernia is noted transmitting small bowel loops.
Case Discussion
A rare case of gastroduodenal intussusuception and secondary biliary tract obstruction. This may be caused by gastric polyps. Complications such as biliary or pancreatic duct (with or without pancreatitis) obstruction can occur.
