Presentation

Abdominal pain and dyspepsia.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Female

A 45 × 25 mm well-defined polypoid intraluminal mass with homogeneous enhancement and without calcification is present in the gastric lesser curvature. There is no sign of extra gastric extension or local invasion to the adjacent structures.

A few nonenhanced simple cortical cysts are seen in both kidneys.

Case Discussion

The patient's gastric mass resection and histopathology evaluation confirmed gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) without malignant transformation.
