Case contributed by Alexandra Stanislavsky
Diagnosis not applicable

Presentation

Single pink gerbera

ct

Axial raw images.

Color stack

ct

Sequential image windowing following application of thick slice MIP and 8-bit CLUT.

Application of false color is guided by inherent CT density. This use of "non representational color and representational form" pays homage to the pop art portraiture of Andy Warhol.

This image was submitted to the RSNA centennial Radiology Art contest:  http://centennial.rsna.org/category-art

3-D reformat demonstrates the degree of detail that is achieved with 64 slice CT scanner (GE).
