There is an echogenic region noted at the left caudothalamic groove and extending into the frontal horn of the left lateral ventricle. No ventricular dilatation seen.
Case Discussion
Any echogenicity noted anterior to the caudothalamic groove represents blood as the choroid finishes at the groove.
