A left proximal femoral purely lytic, eccentric lesion with minimal expansion; difficult to know whether it arises from the epiphysis or metaphysis, but appears to cross the physis.
This patient demonstrates appearances of a giant cell tumour of bone (GCT). Classically, giant cell tumours arise from the epiphysis and do not cross the physis unless it is fused.
This case was histologically proven.
