Presentation
Acute vertigo for one week; no previous illnesses.
Patient Data
Age: 45 years
Gender: Female
From the case:
Giant cerebral aneurysm of middle cerebral artery
Axial non-contrast

Large extra-axial hyperdense mass with calcification in its wall in the left sylvian fissure, inseparable from the adjacent middle cerebral artery (MCA). This is suspicious for a giant cerebral aneurysm. A further area of hyperdensity is seen in the expect region of bifurcation of the right MCA, suggestive of a second aneurysm.
Case Discussion
The diagnosis of a middle cerebral artery giant cerebral aneurysm was confirmed with subsequent MRI with contrast. The small hyperdensity on right MCA was also shown to be an additional aneurysm.
