Giant colonic diverticulum

Large diverticular mass that communicates with sigmoid colon.
Bilateral "Double J" stents are also seen.
Case Discussion
Barium study reveals a large diverticulum arising from the left wall at the recto-sigmoid junction. The rectum is displaced by the diverticulum to the far right. There is a large filling defect within the diverticulum due to impacted fecal matter.
Bilateral "Double J" stents are seen.
This finding was confirmed at laparotomy done for uterine mass.
