Massive expansion of the right middle turbinate which is mucus filled. Associated contralateral deviation of the nasal septum is noted. The paranasal sinuses are well pneumatised with no mucosal wall thickening.
Case Discussion
Patient was seen by an ENT doctor due to complaints of right nasal fullness and nasal block. Nasal examination showed a well-defined right nasal mass with normal overlying nasal mucosa. The left nasal cavity was normal.
CT scan done showed giant mucus-filled concha bullosa in the right with contralateral deviation of the nasal septum.
