There is a large exophytic hepatic lesion (8 cm) in segment VII with a chronic, partially calcified central thrombus and centripetal enhancement. Another lesion is appreciated in segment II with the same pattern of enhancement.

Case Discussion

Features are suggestive of hepatic hemangiomas. Giant hemangioma consists of a cavernous hemangioma measuring over 4 cm in diameter. These hemangiomas may be the seat of thrombosis, liquefaction and fibrosis. A cystic cavity or central calcifications may appear. The edges are regular without loss of parenchymatous volume or capsular retraction.
