Giant lipoma of scalp

Gradually increasing swelling in occipital region.

Patient Data

Age: 62 years
Gender: Female

Large fat density lesion with internal soft tissue density strands in scalp  (occipital region) and posterior neck suggestive of lipoma.  Underlying bones are normal.


Large soft mass in occipital region.

Case Discussion

This case shows a characteristic benign lipoma.
