Functional limitation after the fall with an outstretched arm

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

MRI of the right shoulder, demonstrates a partial tear of the anteroinferior labrum, with adjacent cartilage damage. The tendons of the rotator cuff and the glenohumeral ligaments are normal.

Case Discussion

A GLAD lesion is a Bankart tear with associated articular cartilage damage (osteochondral lesion).
