There is a radiopaque focus (about 9 mm) in soft tissue involving the posterior aspect of the elbow. There is no fracture or dislocation.

There is an echogenic focus (about 9 mm) in the subcutaneous plane of the elbow on the posterior aspect. There is reverberation artifact due to it. There is no collection locally.
Case Discussion
Plain radiographs and ultrasound show a glass foreign body in the soft tissue of the elbow. It was removed surgically.
