Presentation

Headaches.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female
Modality: MRI

Large heterogeneously enhancing mass with regions of peripheral nodularity. The adjacent cortex is thickened. Marked elevation of choline. 

Case Discussion

The patient went on to have a resection which confirmed the diagnosis of glioblastoma.

Histology

Neoplastic cells positive for GFAP (polyclonal)

Negative for EMA

Strong nuclear staining for P53 (D0-7)

Ki-67 positive in 15%
