Expansive process involving the right mesial occipital temporal region with apparent compromise of the splenium of the corpus callosum and subependymal dissemination involving the right lateral ventricle. The lesion presents irregular uptake of contrast with cystic-necrotic area in its center and calcification in its lateral margin. Associated with edema of adjacent white matter with mass effect that determines trapping of the temporal horn on this side. No significant midline displacement. The rest of the cortical parenchyma and white matter are normal.
Case Discussion
Right temporo-occipital malignant process with infiltration of the splenium of the corpus callosum and subependymal dissemination of the right lateral ventricle with edema of adjacent white matter and trapping of the temporal horn whose characteristics make a glioblastoma feasible as the most likely diagnosis.
