Glioblastoma

Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Patient without relevant history. Actually, present to the ER with seizures.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female
mri

At the right parieto-temporal region, there is a mass hypointense in T1 and hyper-isointense in T2 and FLAIR,  with irregular thick margins, central necrosis and surrounded by vasogenic edema.

Low signal foci are seen in GRE sequence consistent with hemosiderin deposits. The solid/marginal component has intermediate signal in DWI and low ADC value reflecting restricted diffusion. 

This lesion generates mass effect over the right ventricle almost collapsing it. It has intense and irregular enhancement of the margins. Also, there are some peripheral flow voids consistent with neovascularization.
