Glioblastoma NOS

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female

MRI brain

A large heterogeneous mass is present in the inferior aspect of the right frontal lobe, crossing into the left frontal lobe via the anterior commissure and corpus callosum. 

Case Discussion

This patient went on to have a biopsy and debulking which confirmed the diagnosis of a glioblastoma.

Note: IDH mutation status is not provided in this case and according to the current (2016) WHO classification of CNS tumours, this tumour would, therefore, be designated as a glioblastoma NOS.
