Presentation

IV Drug user. Found collapsed, diarrheal illness. VF arrest on induction, now intubated. Now fixed and dilated pupils.

Patient Data

Age: 38 years
Gender: Male

Marked cerebral and cerebellar edema with complete loss of grey-white matter differentiation, complete loss of sulcal spaces and cerebellar tonsil descent. Pseudo-subarachnoid sign is present where dural reflections appear bright.
