Left testis is swollen and heterogeneous, showing no vascular flow.
Right testis is of normal dimensions and echotexture, showing normal vascular flow.
Case Discussion
A case of long-standing (i.e. days, not hours) testicular torsion where the testis could not be salvaged. The patient underwent left radical orchiectomy, where a blackened testis was removed and the spermatic cord was seen to be torsed to 360 degrees.
