Penetrating right eye trauma.

  • The right globe has a decreased volume and has lost its spherical shape with enophthalmos.
  • The sclera is buckled.
  • The anterior chamber is slightly enlarged.
  • No foreign body is seen.

This appearance of the globe has been likened to a flat tyre, as the globe loses volume and the sclera subsequently buckles.
