Presentation

Small painful swelling on the dorsum of index finger.

Modality: X-ray

Mild scalloping of dorsum of distal phalanx.

Modality: MRI

Minimal focal soft tissue thickening of dorsum of distal phalanx of the index finger, which is hyperintense on T2 and PD weighted imaging.
