Glomus tumor - thumb

Painful and swelling of the thumb, right hand.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

There is an 8 x 20 mm homogeneous enhancing lobulated lesion with underlying bone remodelling at the dorsal aspect of the first distal phalangeal bone.

Surrounding soft tissue and bone marrow edematous changes also is noted.

Case Discussion

Pathologically proven as a glomus tumor.
