Pain in the tip of the thumb

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

MRI demonstrates a small subungual lesion of the thumb which is isointense in T1WI, hyperintense in DP FATSAT, and a marked homogeneous enhancement on postcontrast sequences.

CT demonstrates mild scalloping of the distal phalanx of the thumb.
