Ultrasound reveals a large collection in the subcutaneous tissue of the right gluteal region, encapsulated, with septa ("web appearance"), heterogeneous hypoechoic content, and absence of internal flow on Doppler. These are characteristic features of hematoma on ultrasound. Similar to that found in hemorrhagic ovarian cysts.
Case Discussion
The case was managed conservatively.
