Had surgery for a large post traumatic hematoma of the right thigh one month ago, presented a painless hard lump under the surgical scar.

There is a well-delineated ovoid mass containing air-bubbles within the soft tissues of the upper thigh with no adjacent femoral bone lesion seen.

The ultrasound images demonstrate a thick-walled echogenic lesion with posterior acoustic shadowing of subaponeurotic location under the surgical scar.
Case Discussion
The radiographic and ultrasound features are those of a soft tissue foreign body. At surgery, a surgical gauze (or textiloma) was removed from the same area.
