A well-circumscribed, oval, juxta-articular punched out erosion with sclerotic borders and overhanging margins is noted in the distal right ulna. The joint space and peri-articular bone density are preserved. Overlying soft tissue swelling is noted.

This patient was a known case of gout and the lesion has a typical appearance of tophaceous gout.
