Growth arrest lines

Presentation

20 month old female with no past medical history presents with concern for non-accidental trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 20 months
Gender: Female
x-ray

No acute displaced fracture or dislocation. Alternating sclerotic transverse lines are seen in the metaphysis of bilateral distal femurs and proximal tibiae consistent with growth arrest lines.
