Gunshot wound to humerus

Comminuted fracture of the proximal humerus with retained slug fragments. This injury represents an open fracture, with a potential complication from external contamination.

Case Discussion

This patient sustained a gunshot wound to the upper arm, with the bullet traversing and splitting the proximal humerus.
