Gynecomastia (bilateral)

Case contributed by Dr Garth Kruger

A 25 year old student presents with bilateral breast masses.

Patient Data

Age: 25
Gender: Male

Bilateral gynecomastia.

Ultrasound images of the left breast tissue.

Case Discussion

Very pronounced bilateral gynecomastia in a young man. The patient actually had two perfectly developed breasts, larger on the left than the right. The condition had understandably caused him some distress. A plastic surgical consultation was set up.
