Acute infarct left gyrus rectus extending superiorly to the cingulate gyrus, left head of caudate nucleus and anterior aspect of the left lentiform nucleus. Scattered subcortical punctate microinfarcts in the left ACA territory.

Case Discussion

Example of the vascular distribution of the branches of the ACA including the recurrent artery of Heubner supplying the head of the caudate nucleus.
