Hemangioblastoma

Presentation

Headache, gait ataxia and vomiting for more than 3 months.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male
MRI

A cerebellar vermian cystic lesion with enhancing superficial nodule is noted. Prominent serpiginous flow voids within and adjacent to the nodule are seen. No convincing enhancement of the cyst wall. The features are highly consistent with hemangioblastoma.

DSA (angiography)

Angiography study at the time of preoperative embolization show enlarged feeding arteries and dilated draining veins, with a dense tumor blush centrally.

The lesion was resected and was confirmed to be a hemangioblastoma
