Well-defined ovoid solid subcutaneous lesion measuring 19 x 15 x 8 mm is seen in the region of interest. The lesion abutts the distal phalangeal cortex, but it discontinuous from it, and is fairly uncompressible. Intralesional arterial and venous flow demonstrated, as well as a punctate calcification (showing a ring down artifact).
IMPRESSION : Vascular solid lesion, most likely a hemangioma.
Excisional biopsy: hemangioma
