Presentation

5 months of amenorrhoea. Complaining of lower abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Female
Modality: Ultrasound

Collection with echoes is noted in cervical canal which communiates with smaller endometrial canal collection.

No cervical mass lesion is noted.

Post cervical dilatation - day 1

Modality: Ultrasound

Residual smaller collection is noted in cervical canal which communiates with endometrial canal collection.

No cervical solid mass lesion is noted.

Tiny cervical nabothian cysts are present.

Case Discussion

Findings favour haematometra due to cervical stenosis.
