Bilateral high T1 signal intensity in a tubular structure (waist sign), it is high on T1FS with no enhancement, with low T2 (shading sign). Two uterine fibroids and lower adenomyosis are also seen. On the sagittal T2, there are low T2 peritoneal signal intensities in the pouch of Douglas with bowel tethering.
Case Discussion
Findings are in keeping with bilateral hematosalpinx (diagnostic of tubal endometriosis) with peritoneal endometriosis.
