Haemengioma of finger

Left little finger - Palmer aspect - Distal phalanx - nodular lesion - Few months.

Patient Data

Age: 15 yrs
Gender: Male

Well-defined ovoid lesion is seen in region of interest.

Size       - 19 x 15 x 8 mm

Location - Subcutenous plane.

                 Seperate from bone , abutts distal phalangeal cortex.


Morphology - Solid

             - A tiny echogenic focus in lesion - Calcification

             - NOt significantly compressible.


Dopplar     - Arterial as well as venous flow noted.

                 - Ring down artifact due to calcification.     

   IMPRESSION : Solid lesion with vascularity. 

Possibility of hamengioma most likely.
