Presentation

PH nephrectomy for renal carcinoma. Now presenting with headache.

Patient Data

Age: 85 years
Gender: Male

Hyperdense mass right temporal lobe with minimal enhancement and surrounding vasogenic edema consistent with "hemorrhagic" metastasis. Note tumor recurrence in the left renal bed, wound and liver mets.

T1 hyperintense mass with central T2 hypointensity and susceptibility artifact with subtle central enhancement consistent with hemorrhagic metastasis.
