Patient who arrived at the intensive care unit with a Glasgow Coma Score of 3.

Patient Data

Gender: Male

The entire right MCA territory is infarcted with multiple foci of hemorrhage, presumably representing hemorrhagic transformation of an ischemic stroke. 

Case Discussion

This case shows a typical intraparenchymal hematoma within a large right MCA territory infarct, with edema and mass effect.
