Right ankle pain.

Linear intrasubstance abnormal increased fluid signal along the course of achilles tendon next to the insertion site related insertional achilles tendinopathy

Bone marrow edema at the posterosuperior aspect of the calcaneus.

Retro calcaneal bursitis.

Case Discussion

Haglund syndrome refers to the triad of insertional Achilles tendinopathyretrocalcaneal bursitis, and Haglund deformity (i.e. posterosuperior calcaneal exostosis) which results in pain at the back of the heel.
