Frontal and lateral radiographs depict the hallucal and 2nd to 5th metatarsal sesamoids.
Lesser metatarsal sesamoid is bipartite.
Case Discussion
Unlike the hallucal sesamoids, the metatarsal sesamoids are not common. The AP view radiograph of the foot best depict the metatarsal sesamoids.
