Mild bilateral pes planus. Mild bilateral first metatarsophalangeal joint space narrowing with marginal osteophytes, most prominent dorsally. Small peri-articular ossicles.
Case Discussion
Hallux rigidus is principally a clinical diagnosis (as in this case). On imaging, hallux rigidus typically presents as first metatarsophalangeal joint osteoarthritis with prominent/large dorsal osteophytes.
