Posterior thigh pain. Sports injury.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male
mri

No muscle injury identified. Particularly, there is no muscle fiber hyperintensity or disruption. Proximal and distal tendons are intact and hypointense. No ischial bursal effusion.

Normal MRI hamstrings for reference. In a patient with an injury clinically, these are classified as "grade 0" per the British Athletics classification
