There is a fracture of C2 vertebra at both pedicles with 1-2mm displacement and no angulation, suggestive of Hangman's fracture - type 1 per the Levin Edward's classification.
Case Discussion
The patient came with the history of neck trauma due to the entanglement of scarf in the ceiling fan. This resulted in sharp hyperextension injury. CT scan reveals hangman's fracture with minimal displacement, which can be managed by orthosis.
