Presentation

Non-specific acute chest symptoms.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

There are no acute chest x-ray findings.  There are however innumerable small calcific densities throughout both lungs.  Further questioning confirmed a prior history of severe chicken pox, acquired as a young adult.

Innumerable small calcific densities throughout both lungs in a patient with a documented history of varicella pneumonia.
