Axial T2 fat sat

There is a well defined intramuscular lesion, measuring about 3.5 x 3.4 x 6.5 cm noted within the anterior deltoid muscle.
It shows fatty component with nearly complete suppression on the fat saturation sequence.
No internal septations or dystrophic calcifications.
It is not showing invasion of the adjacent neurovascular bundles or other important surrounding soft tissue structures.
It shows a cleavage line from the adjacent humerus.
Case Discussion
The interesting thing about this intramuscular lipoma is its heart-like shape, which is seen on axial and coronal views.
