Acute intraparenchymal bleeding in the left frontal lobe with intraventricular extension.
Case Discussion
Axial NCCT image of a brain with acute intracranial bleeding with a superimposed saliency map ("heatmap") showing the probability of each pixel representing blood.
To generate the saliency map 3D Global Average Pooling layer weights and gradient-based visualizations were used on a 3D convolutional neural network. Original results from Dimitrios Toumpanakis' personal research archive.
