Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

MRI brain

Modality: MRI

Large vividly enhancing mass centred on the tentorium has large tortuous vessels over the surface and traversing the tumour. It is highly lobulated. It effaces the 4th ventricle and aqueduct and results in obstructive hydrocephalus. 

Case Discussion

The patient went on to have a craniotomy and resection of this highly vascular mass. Histology confirmed the diagnosis of hemangiopericytoma.
