Hematometrocolpos with hematosalpinges

Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Absent menarche

Patient Data

Age: 15 years
Gender: Female

Elongated and dilated uterine cervix and proximal part of vagina filled with T1/T2 high signal material. 
The endometrial cavity is also prominent.
Bilateral dilated and tortuous fallopian tubes with high signal intensity material.

Mild ascites is also noted.

Case Discussion

Features of hematometrocolpos and bilateral hematosalpinges. The possible causes could be transverse vaginal septum, and imperforate hymen respectively.
